From the NORTH proceed south on U.S. 395 to Adelanto.
Turn left (east) on Air Base Road/Air Expy for 5.3 miles and bear right (southeast) onto National Trails Highway/North D Street (Historic Route 66).
Continue straight on National Trails Highway about 1.7 miles past Interstate 15 onto D Street/State Route 18.
Continue to follow State Route 18 through Victorville into Apple Valley about 9.3 miles to the signal light at Central Road. This is about 16.3 miles from U.S. 395.
Turn left (north) on Central Road about 0.5 mile to Esaws Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Esaws Avenue a short distance to Granite Hills High School.
From BIG BEAR proceed north and west on State Route 18 to Apple Valley. Turn right (north) on Central Road at signal light about 0.5 mile to Esaws Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Esaws Avenue a short distance to Granite Hills High School. About 38 miles total, 1 hour 15 minutes.
From RIM proceed west to Interstate 15, then north on I-15 to Exit 151 for Victorville and State Route 18. Bear right on State Route 18 about 9.2 miles into Apple Valley to signal light at Central Road.
Turn left (north) on Central Road about 0.5 mile to Esaws Avenue. Turn right (east) onto Esaws Avenue a short distance to Granite Hills High School. About 81.5 miles from Running Springs, 2 hours; About 63 miles from Crestline, 1 hour and 45 minutes.
